The moment after Auto Apply feels done: you got the notification, the form is behind you. The search is not done. You still need to know what you applied to, with which CV, and whether the status is still Submitted or already Interview.
Enlistar puts form applies, Quick Mail sends, and jobs you add yourself in one list. Auto Apply is how many of those form rows get created. Tracking is how they stay useful.
What a complete Auto Apply record contains
- Company and title from the listing
- That you applied via form (Auto Apply or extension)
- A Submitted status you can change
- Access to the CV, cover letter, and interview tools for that job
Open the record the same day you apply. If something is missing, fix it while you still remember the posting.
Statuses that mean something
Use Submitted, Interview, Offered, Rejected, and the other stages the tracker provides. Do not invent private codes in the title field. A list you can scan on Sunday only works if every row uses the same language.
When a recruiter books a screen, move it to Interview before you prep. Interview prep on Enlistar is tied to a job you already applied for. If the application is not in the list, you will generate questions for a ghost role.
Extension applies belong here too
If you auto-filled Greenhouse with the Chrome extension, that submit should not live only in the ATS confirmation email. It should sit next to Job Openings Auto Apply so you do not double-apply or forget a follow-up. Same for Quick Mail: email jobs disappear in Sent folders unless they are tracked.
Follow-up from the list, not from memory
Two weeks in Submitted on a live role is a decision point: one short follow-up, or let it go. You can only make that decision if the date and the documents are on the row. Auto Apply bought you time on the form. Spend a little of that time keeping the tracker honest, and the rest of the search stays calm.
