Most of the internet’s job applications do not live on Enlistar. They live on LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, Indeed, Glassdoor, and company career sites. Each one is a different layout. Each one still wants your name, history, education, and a file.
The Enlistar Chrome extension is Auto-Apply for that world. You open the form on the employer’s site. Enlistar detects the fields, fills them from your profile, you review, you submit on that page. The application is saved to tracking.
When to use the extension instead of the job board button
Use the extension when you are already on an application page outside Enlistar — a recruiter link, a LinkedIn Easy Apply-style form, a Greenhouse listing, a Workday flow. Use Auto Apply on Enlistar Job Openings when you found the role inside Enlistar and the listing supports that path.
You do not need the extension for onboarding, Quick Mail, CVs, tracking, interview prep, or meeting notes. Those run in the dashboard. Install the extension when you want to auto-fill forms.
What the widget actually does
Open a supported form. The widget appears. One click fills the application from the profile you confirmed after you uploaded your CV. That includes the repeating fields that normally cost 15–20 minutes: contact, work history, education, and many short answers that overlap your resume.
Supported ATS families include Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, LinkedIn, Indeed, Ashby, Glassdoor, and more than 100 other sites. The point is not to memorize a vendor list. The point is: if you see a long form, try the widget before you type the same job three times.
Review is the feature, not a speed bump
Auto-fill that submits without you looking is how people send the wrong work authorization, an old title, or a blank required field. Enlistar fills. You read. You change anything that looks off. Then you submit on the site.
Pay attention to:
- Required questions your profile may not cover (notice period, salary, visa, “how did you hear about us”).
- Long-answer boxes. Fill can draft them; you should make them sound like this company.
- The resume upload. Confirm it is the CV that matches this job, not last year’s file.
After you submit
The application is saved to tracking with your form applies and Quick Mail sends. You can update status as you hear back and open the record for the CV, cover letter, and interview tools for that job. You should not have a second spreadsheet for “extension applies.”
A setup that makes auto-fill trustworthy
- Create an account and finish onboarding from one CV upload.
- Edit anything the extract got wrong. Save.
- Install the extension from Enlistar’s download page.
- Apply to one real form as a test. Read every field. Fix the profile if the fill was stale.
- Then use it on roles you actually want.
The extension does not replace judgment. It replaces retyping. Combined with Auto Apply on the job board, you have two form paths and one tracker. That is the system.
